  • Resistance ability of grade 347/ 347H
    These grades offer a similar amount of corrosion resistance as stabilized chromium grades. It has overall general and local corrosion resistance ability. Generally, it is a stabilized SS grade which offers excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion in exposure to high temperatures. It is resistive to chromium carbide range of precipitation( sensitization) in the temperature 427 to 816 degree C. It is stabilize against chromium carbide formation.
    Alloy 347/ 347H is susceptible to stress corrosion cracking (SSC) in halides environments. This is due to its nickel content. It has alloying elements allows it to use in the pitting and crevice corrosion environments. It exhibits oxidation resistance compared to the conventional grades. The desired physical properties are derived from the heat treatment process. Usually alloy 347 is non-magnetic in nature in the annealed conditions, however, it slightly becomes magnetic when exposed to cold working operations.
  • Forming details
    It has good cold work hardening rate. The hot forming temperature of the alloy is 2100- 2250 degree F and it is recommended for fabrication. It is immediately quenched or fully annealed that retain higher mechanical properties. It has good weldability, machinability, formability, and fabricability feature.
  • Product inspection
    At the time of manufacturing, there are much chance of faulty products that are produced. In order to remove them, they are inspected in our testing facility. The tests propelled by us are natural circulation stability tests, PMI test, hardness test, Thermal performance test, and chemical test. Other tests are a mechanical test, destructive test, macro test, IGC test, pitting corrosion test, compression test, leakage test, and ultrasonic test.
